Quipu: pre announcement of our open source datawarehouse management system

Within a few months sister company QOSQO will launch the project and product Quipu. A joint initiative leading to the realization of a data vault oriented data warehouse management system that enables companies to implement a data warehouse at limited cost and in limited throughputtime. Seminar data warehousing well visited (2009-09-22)

September 16th our seminar regarding the topic data warehousing took place. 22 organizations participated. Approximately 48 visitors came to the conference center at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven.

The seminar was welcomed positively by the attendants. The topics:
• BI reference architecture
• Data Vault introduction
• Morpheus: the data warehouse management system of SNS bank
Interested a large group of people.

Those who were present also witnessed the launch of Quipu. The open source data warehouse management system as developed by sister company QOSQO (www.qosqo.nl). Quipu is based on the Data Vault concept of Dan Linstedt.

We are looking for partners that want to participate in further development of Quipu and/or that want to steer development from user perspective.

Nippur and QOSQO are organizing a data warehousing seminar on September 16 2009 (2009-08-26)
